Attention Brothers and sisters..... There are reports of a number of acid attacks on motorists in the UK.Last few day days has seen horrific attacks in London, Luton, Coventry, Salford,Birmingham and in Leicester. ACID ATTACK DO'S AND DONT'S : 1. Don't keep windows open and keep your car doors locked especially at traffic lights etc. Do not open your window no matter how helpless the person looks! 2. Ensure kids don't open the windows from back seat. 3. Have a large bottle of clean bottle with you in the car just in case you have to wash the acid off. 4. Have 999 on speed dial on mobile 5. Knock on peoples door to get help, get more water and continue washing acid off until ambulance arrives (can take about 30-45 mins for the burning to stop or start to fade when applying water). Remove any jewellery 6. Don’t apply any kind of cream, ointment on the affected area as it may slow the treatment procedure by doctors. 7. Dont chase / engage with attacker 8.
