"Prime Minister's New 15-Point Programme for Welfare of Minorities" has been formulated as under:
I. Enhancing opportunities for education
Educational backwardness is one of the primary reasons for continued poverty and deprivation of any community. Consequently, enhancement of opportunities for education is a necessary intervention to address the problem of backwardness of any community.
(1) Equitable availability of ICDS services
The Integrated Child Development Services (ICDS) Scheme is aimed at holistic development of children and pregnant/lactating mothers from disadvantaged sections, by providing services through Anganwadi Centres such as supplementary nutrition, immunisation, health check up referral services, pre-school and non-formal education. A certain percentage of the ICDS projects and Anganwadi Centres will be located in blocks/villages with substantial population of minority communities to ensure that the benefits of this scheme are equitably available to such communities also.
(2) Improving access to school education
The surest way of enabling access to schools for children of a particular community is to locate schools in localities/villages predominantly inhabited by that community. New elementary schools are opened in various localities/villages all over the country under the Sarva Shiksha Abhiyan, the Kasturba Gandhi Balika Vidyalaya Scheme, and other similar Government schemes. It will be ensured that a certain percentage of all such schools are located in localities/villages having substantial population of minority communities.
(3) Greater resources for teaching Urdu
Urdu is the mother tongue of a large number of people, but there is inadequate provision for teaching of this language. Central assistance will be provided for recruitment and posting of Urdu language teachers in primary and upper primary schools that serve a population in which at least one-fourth belong to that language group.
(4) Modernising Madrasa Education
The Central Plan Scheme of Area Intensive and Madrasa Modernisation Programme provides basic educational infrastructure in areas of concentration of educationally backward minorities and resources for the modernisation of Madrasa education. Keeping in view the importance of addressing this need, this programme will be substantially strengthened and more effectively implemented.
(5) Scholarships for meritorious students from minority communities
It is crucial that poverty does not come in the way of continuation of studies of meritorious students from minority communities. Therefore, a Scheme for Pre-Matriculation and Post- Matriculation Scholarships for students from minority communities will be formulated and implemented.
(6) Improving educational infrastructure through the Maulana Azad Education Foundation
The Maulana Azad Education Foundation has been set up to promote education amongst the educationally backward minorities. It provides grants to establish or expand schools, purchase lab equipments and furniture, construct hostel buildings, or strengthen vocational technical training facilities. Government shall provide all possible assistance to the Foundation, to strengthen and enable it to expand its activities more effectively.
II. Equitable share in economic activities and employment
No nation can develop fully till all communities and groups constituting it have an equitable share in economic opportunities and employment. Proactive measures become necessary when one or more communities lag behind and become increasingly marginalized. In such circumstances, focusing Government programmes towards these communities, with earmarking of targets, becomes necessary.
(7) Self-Employment and Wage Employment for the poor
(a) The Swarnajayanti Gram Swarozgar Yojana (SGSY) is the primary self-employment programme for rural areas, with the objective of bringing assisted poor families above the poverty line by providing them income generating assets through a mix of bank credit and governmental subsidy. The benefit of this programme should be adequately available to the minority communities also. Accordingly, a certain percentage of the physical and financial targets under the SGSY will be earmarked for beneficiaries belonging to the minority communities living below the poverty line in rural areas.
(b) The equivalent self-employment programme for the urban areas is the Swarnajayanati Shahari Rozgar Yojana (SSRY). It consists of two major components namely, the Urban Self-Employment Programme (USEP) and the Urban Wage Employment Programme (UWEP). A certain percentage of the physical and financial targets under USEP and UWEP will be earmarked to benefit people below the poverty line from the minority communities.
(c) The Sampoorna Grameen Rozgar Yojana (SGRY) is aimed at providing additional wage employment in rural areas, alongside creation of durable community, social and economic infrastructure. A certain percentage of the allocation under SGRY will be earmarked for beneficiaries belonging to the minority communities living below the poverty line. Simultaneously, a certain percentage of the allocation will be earmarked for the creation of infrastructure in such villages which have a substantial population of minorities.
(8) Upgradation of skills through technical training
A very large proportion of the population of minority communities is engaged in low-level technical work or earn their living as handicraftsmen. Provision of technical training to such people would upgrade their skills and earning capability. Therefore, a certain proportion of all new ITIs will be located in areas predominantly inhabited by minority communities and a proportion of existing ITIs to be upgraded to "Centres of Excellence" will be selected on the same basis.
(9) Enhanced credit support for economic activities
(a) The National Minorities Development and Finance Corporation (NMDFC) was set up with the objective of promoting economic development activities among the minority communities. The Corporation has been functioning since 1994. The Government is committed to strengthening the NMDFC by providing it greater equity support to enable it to fully achieve its objectives.
(b) Bank credit is essential for creation and sustenance of self-employment initiatives. A target of 40% of net bank credit for priority sector lending has been fixed for domestic banks. The priority sector includes, inter alia, agricultural loans, loans to small scale industries and small businesses, loans to retail traders, professionals and self-employed persons, educational loans, housing loans and micro-credit. It will be ensured that an appropriate percentage of the priority sector lending in all categories is targeted for the minority communities.
(10) Recruitment to State and Central Services
(a) In the recruitment of police personnel, State Governments will be advised to give special consideration to minorities. For this purpose, the composition of Selection Committees should be representative.
(b) The Central Government will take similar action in the recruitment of personnel to the Central Police Forces.
(c) Large scale employment opportunities are provided by the Railways, Nationalized Banks and Public Sector Enterprises. In these cases as well, the Ministries/Departments concerned will ensure that special consideration is given to recruitment from minority communities.
(d) The Government implements a number of schemes for pre-examination coaching of candidates belonging to weaker sections of society, including poor students from minority communities. An exclusive scheme will be launched for candidates belonging to minority communities to provide coaching in Government institutions as well as in reputed private coaching institutes which have a track record of showing good results in competitive examinations. Government will provide funds to pay the fees on behalf of meritorious candidates from minority communities who enroll in these selected private institutes.
III. Improving the conditions of living of minorities
A very large number of people belonging to minority communities live in slums in urban areas, often ignored by the local government agencies. In rural areas, they are often amongst the poorest of the poor, not able to afford a proper house to live in.
(11) Equitable share in rural housing scheme
The Indira Awaas Yojana (IAY) provides financial assistance for shelter to the rural poor living below the poverty line. A certain percentage of the physical and financial targets under JAY will be earmarked for rural poor beneficiaries from minority communities.
(12) Improvement in condition of slums inhabited by minority communities
Under the National Slum Development Programme (NSDP), the Central Government provides assistance to States/UTs for development of urban slums through provision of physical amenities like water supply, storm water drains, widening and paving of existing lanes, sewers, community latrines, streetlights etc. The funds under NSDP can also be used for provision of community infrastructure and social amenities like pre-school education, adult education, maternal and child health etc. A certain percentage of the physical and financial targets under this programme will be earmarked for slums predominantly inhabited by the minority communities.
IV. Prevention and control of communal riots
Prevention and control of communal riots is a basic duty of the State. However, in the past decades, minority communities have suffered loss of lives and property on account of communal violence. The welfare of minority communities is inextricably linked with the effectiveness of measures adopted to address this issue.
(13) Prevention of communal incidents
In the areas which have been identified as communally sensitive and riot prone, District and Police Officials of the highest known efficiency, impartiality and secular record must be posted. In such areas, and even elsewhere, the prevention of communal tension should be one of the primary duties of the DM and the SP. Their performance in this regard should be an important factor in determining their promotion prospects.
(14) Prosecution for communal offences
Severe action should be taken against all those who incite communal tensions or take part in violence. Special court or courts specifically earmarked to try communal offences should be set up so that offenders are brought to book speedily.
(15) Rehabilitation of victims of communal riots
Victims of communal riots should be given immediate relief and provided prompt and adequate financial assistance for their rehabilitation.

jazakallah... VALUE OF WOMAN IN QURAN (This couldn't be said more beautifully...)
Be careful not to make a woman cry, because GOD counts her tears...
A woman came out of a man's rib, Not from his feet to be walked on,nor from his head to be superior over, but From his side to be equal.Under the arm to be protected,
and next to the heart to be loved!
Pass this to all the luvly women that u knw... & to men too so they knw the value of a woman...

1) Home Remedies for Asthma:

Take 1 tsp honey and 1/4 tsp cinnamon powder and mix them well before consuming. For people who are in their early stages of asthma, a perfect home remedy is to boil 8-10 cloves of garlic in 1/2 cup of milk and consume it during night time. Take very hot water and add a tsp of honey in it. Consume it just before sleeping and take small sips

2) Home Remedies for Body Odour:

Use antibacterial soap or deodorant soap while bathing. To combat the unpleasant armpit odour apply cider vinegar. It serves as the best body odour home remedy treatment. In the bathing water, add a few cups of tomato juice and soak yourself in water for about 15 minutes.

3) Home Remedies for Backache:

Lime juice serves as an excellent home remedy for backache. Squeeze the juice of 1 lemon and add common salt in it. Drink it two times in a day. It will act as a great back pain reliever.

As a part of back pain home remedy treatment, raw potato in the form of poultice is to be applied on the pain affected area.

Usually Vitamin C that is mainly found in citrus fruits is considered valuable for getting rid of backaches. Consume about 2000 mg of this vitamin everyday.

Applying garlic oil on the back gives immense relief from back pain. Take about 10 small garlic pieces and fry them in oil on a low flame. You can either use sesame oil, coconut oil or mustard oil. Fry till the garlic cloves turn light brown. Let the oil prepared from garlic cool completely.

Thereafter apply it on the back and keep it for about three hours. In a couple of days, you'll feel its magical effects

4)Home Remedies for Cough:

Grapes help a great deal in treating cold in a few days. Consume 1 cup grape juice and also add 1-teaspoon honey to it.

Almonds are excellent for dry coughs. Soak about seven almonds in water and keep them overnight. Next morning peel off the brown skin.

Now grind them to form a powder and add twenty grams each of butter and sugar and form a paste. Consume it twice a day , once in the morning and the second time in the evening.

5) Home Remedies for Common Cold:

Lemon can be used effectively to treat common cold, as it increases the body resistance. Take one glass of warm water and pour some lime juice and a tsp of honey in it and consume it once or twice on a daily basis.

Take 1 tbsp of Pepper powder and boil it in a cup of milk. Also add on a pinch of turmeric to it. Put some sugar for taste. Drink it once in a day for about three days.

Take 3-4 tsp Onion juice and 3-4 tsp Honey and mix well before consuming.

sadah bahar
I would like to share this article, which is very usefull for everyone.

Well, from last few days,i’m xtrmly depressed,so,I was looking for some solution.and i found this article.

depression_by_thirsty5.. Feeling down in the dumps, depressed, having the blues: these are just some of the terms used to describe a feeling of hopelessness and despair that can hit even the most optimistic of us at some
point in our lives. While clinical depression requires proper professional treatment, the occasional feeling of sadness due to factors ranging from economic difficulty to harassment and discrimination can be helped through some simple spiritual practices. Here are a couple that can help:

1. Look at those below you

The Prophet Muhammad, peace and blessings be upon him, said: “Whenever you see someone better than you in wealth, face or figure, you should look at someone who is inferior to you in these respects” (Bukhari, Muslim). If you are reading this article online, consider this: you are one of the lucky set of human beings on the planet who can afford a computer and internet connection or at least have access to one. The United Nations Development Program’s 2007 Human Development Report notes that there are still around 1 billion people living worldwide at the margins of survival on less than $1 a day, with 2.6 billion living on less than $2 a day. Also consider that in the Quran (14:7), God says that if you are thankful to Him for what you have, He blesses you with more.

2. Serve your fellow human beings

The best way to thank God is to serve humanity, especially those who have less than you. Serving others is uplifting and rewarding. It helps us gain a better perspective on life’s challenges, making us realize how very often, are problems seem so small compared to the awesome difficulties others face. That’s why when the Prophet Muhammad, peace and blessings be upon him, and the Muslims were a small, poor and persecuted community, they used to give to the poor even more. They understood that when you are generous when you have less, you achieve the perspective of a winner. You are focused on the bigger picture.

3. Read Surah Ad Duha

According to one report, after the Prophet had begun receiving revelation from God, at one point a long period of time passed with no such communication from Allah. As a result, the Makkans ridiculed the Prophet and he became severely depressed. That’s when this chapter was revealed (Quran 93: 1-11). The chapter is a beautiful reminder to us to see life in the greater scheme of things, to be grateful for what we have and to never give up striving for what is right. This chapter of the Quran can be considered a direct recipe from God for depression.

4. Turn to God in all situations

Remember that nothing can harm you without the consent of God. While you must take care of yourself, rely on God and know that He is always with you and only He can give you strength in difficult times. Also remember that He will help you can come out of a trying situation as a better person if you deal with it positively.

5. Remember God’s Names

God has many beautiful Names which describe His attributes and powers. These are reminders of His Love, Mercy, Forgiveness, Justice, Strength and much, more. Supplicating to God using these Names reminds us that God has these attributes more than any other being and that we can and must rely on Him during good and bad times.

6. Say ‘Hasbun Allahu wa Ni’ mal Wakeel‘;

This has been translated as “God suffices me and He is the best guardian.” It is an excellent way of reminding us that whatever worries we have or problems we face, God has the answer and cure to all of them and is the only One who can really do what is best for us.

7. Make sure when you leave home,

you read this Dua ‘In the name of Allah, I place my trust in Allah, and there is no might nor power except with Allah.’ Bismillahe tawakkaltu alAllahe la haula wa la quwwata illa biAllah.

8. Take your spiritual break from the world,

five times a day Taking a break away from school, work or other life activities to spend a few minutes to remember God helps you reconnect with the Creator of the Universe, fortify your soul and strengthen your resolve to live a better life that is in tune with your faith and principles.

9. End your day on a good note

Shakespeare once wrote a play entitled “All’s well that ends well.” That’s good advice for dealing with depression too. End a day that may have been riddled with challenges and frustrations by making Wudu before going to bed, thinking of God and the Prophet and counting every blessings you have

10. Stop Shaytan in his tracks

Shaytan is the source of many of our negative emotions. It’s his job to make us feel pessimistic and to despair of any good in life. When you feel these feelings coming on, stop him dead in his tracks: say Aoutho billahi minash Shaytan ir Rajeem (I seek refuge in Allah from the accursed satan).

I pray,Almighty will remove these pains from my heart, and make this post usefull for muslims brotehrs and sisters…

Ameen!......Dr. DrPravin Bhatia-Purecha..Mumbai...

HAPPY Friendship DAY

Value of relation
is not that how much you feel happy with some one . .
But it is that
how much some one feels ALONE without you!

A friend is a push when you have stopped, a chat when u r lonely, a guide when u r searching, a smile when u r sad, a song when u r glad. Happy Friendship's day

One day we all will be sitting and thinking hard about life:
- How it changed from simple college life to a hard, strict, demanding, uncreative professional life?

- How pocket money changed to huge remuneration pay cheques, but still gives us less happiness?

- How a few local jeans changed to new branded wardrobes, but less occasions to use them?

- How a single plate of samosa changed to a full pizza, but hunger is still less?

- How a bike that was always in reserve changed to a car always thats always on, but less places to go?

- How to save every single rupee to recharge the cell phone, changed to a postpaid connection, but less people to talk to?

- How every assignment done at the last minute changed to a regular income sheet, but less instinctive?

Life moves fast, so please retain your friendships! Happy frndship day.....:)

Some Common Mistakes in Ramadan

Taking Ramadhaan as a ritual

For many of us Ramadhaan has lost its spirituality and has become more
of a ritual ( Stereotyped behaviour) than a form of Ibaadah. We fast
from morning to night like a zombie (living dead) just because
everyone around us is fasting too. We forget that its a time to purify
our hearts and our souls from all evil. We forget to make Dua, forget
to beseech Allah to forgive us and ask Him to save us from the Fire.
Sure we stay away from food and drink but that’s about all ?

Too much stress on food and drink

For some people, the entire month of Ramadhaan revolves around food.
They spend the ENTIRE day planning, cooking, shopping and thinking
about only food, instead of concentrating on Salaah, Quraan and other
acts of worship. All they can think of is FOOD so much so that they
turn the month of ‘fasting’ into the month of ‘feasting’.

Spending all day cooking

Some of the sisters (either by their own choice or forced by their
husbands) are cooking ALL day and ALL night, so that by the end of the
day, they are too tired to even pray Ishaa, let alone pray Taraweeh or
Tahajjud or even read Quraan. This is the month of mercy and
forgiveness. So turn off that stove and turn on your Imaan!

[Cooking]

Eating too much

Some people stuff themselves at Suhoor (Sehree) until they are ready
to burst, because they think this is the way to not feel hungry during
the day and some people eat at Iftaar, like there is no tomorrow,
trying to ‘make up for the food missed.’ However, this is completely
against the Sunnah. Moderation is the key to everything. The Prophet
(Sal Allahu Alaiyhi wa Sallam) said: “The son of Adam does not fill
any vessel worse than his stomach; for the son of Adam a few mouthfuls
are sufficient to keep his back straight. If you must fill it, then
one-third for food, one-third for drink and one-third for air.”
(Tirmidhi, Ibn Maajah.  saheeh by al-Albaani).

Too much food distracts a person from many deeds of obedience and
worship, makes him lazy and also makes the heart heedless.

Sleeping all day

Some people spend their entire day (or a major part of it) ’sleeping
away their fast’. Is this what is really required of us during this
noble month? These people also are missing the purpose of fasting and
are slaves to their desires of comfort and ease. They cannot ‘bear’ to
be awake and face a little hunger or exert a little self-control. For
a fasting person to spend most of the day asleep is nothing but,
negligence on his part.

[Sleeping]

Wasting time

[Watching TV]

The month of Ramadhaan is a precious, It is so much precious so that
Allah calls this month “Ayyamum Ma’doodaat“ (A fixed number of days).
Before we know it, this month of mercy and forgiveness will be over.
We should try and spend every moment possible in the worship of Allah
so that we can make the most of this blessing. However, there are some
of us who waste away their day playing video games, or worse still,
watching TV, movies or even listening to music. Subhaan Allah! Trying
to obey Allah by DISOBEYING him!

Fasting but not giving up evil

Some of us fast but do not give up lying, cursing, fighting,
backbiting, etc. and some of us fast but do not give up cheating,
stealing, dealing in haraam, buying lotto tickets, selling alcohol,
fornication, etc. and all kinds of impermissible things without
realizing that the purpose of fasting is to not stay away from food
and drink; rather the aim behind it is to fear Allah.

“O you who believe! Fasting is prescribed for you as it was prescribed
for those before you, that you may become Al-Muttaqoon (the pious)”
[al-Baqarah 2:183]
The Prophet (Sal Allahu Alaiyhi wa Sallam) said: “Whoever does not
give up false speech and acting upon it, and ignorance, Allah has no
need of him giving up his food and drink.” (Bukhaari)

Smoking

[No Smoking]

Smoking is forbidden in Islam whether during Ramadhaan or outside of
it, as it is one of al-Khabaa’ith (evil things). And this includes ALL
kinds of ’smoking material’ eg.cigars, cigarettes, pipes,’Sheesha’,
hookah etc.“he allows them as lawful At Tayyibaat (all good and lawful
things), and prohibits them as unlawful Al Khabaa’ith (all evil and
unlawful things) [al-A'raaf :157]

It is harmful, not only to the one smoking, but also to the ones
around him. It is also a means of wasting ones wealth.
The Prophet (Sal Allahu Alaiyhi wa Sallam) said: “There should be no
harming or reciprocating harm.”
This is especially true during fasting and it invalidates the
fast.(Fatwa -Ibn ‘Uthaymeen)

Skipping Suhoor (Sehree)

The Prophet (Sal Allahu Alaiyhi wa Sallam) said: “Eat suhoor for in
suhoor there is blessing.”(Bukhaari, Muslim). And he (Sal Allahu
Alaiyhi wa Sallam) said: “The thing that differentiates between our
fasting and the fasting of the People of the Book is eating suhoor.”
(Muslim)

[Skipping Suhoor]

Stopping Suhoor( Sehree) at ‘Imsaak’

Some people stop eating Suhoor 10-15 minutes earlier than the time of
Fajr to observe ‘Imsaak’. Shaykh Ibn ‘Uthaymeen said: This is a kind
of bidah (innovation) which has no basis in the Sunnah. Rather the
Sunnah is to do the opposite.

Allah allows us to eat until dawn: “and eat and drink until the white
thread (light) of dawn appears to you distinct from the black thread
(darkness of night)” [al-Baqarah 2:187]
And the Prophet (pbuh) said: “….eat and drink until you hear the
adhaan of Ibn Umm Maktoom, for he does not give the adhaan until dawn
comes.”
This ‘imsaak’ which some of the people do is an addition to what Allah
has prescribed, so it is false. It is a kind of extremism in religion,
and the Prophet (Sal Allahu Alaiyhi wa Sallam) said:
”Those who go to extremes are doomed, those who go to extremes are
doomed, those who go to extremes are doomed.” (Muslim)

Not fasting if they missed Suhoor ( Sehree)

Some people are too scared to fast if they miss Suhoor. However, this
is a kind of cowardice and love of ease. What is the big deal if you
missed a few morsels of food? It’s not like you will die. Remember,
obedience to Allah overcomes everything.

[Eating Food]

Eating continuously until the time for Maghrib is up
[Eating]

Some people put so much food in their plates when breaking their fast
and continue eating, enjoying dessert, drinking tea, etc., until they
miss Maghrib. That is obviously not right. The Sunnah of the Prophet
(pbuh) was that once he broke his fast with some dates, then he would
hasten to the prayer. Once you are done with the prayer, you can
always go back and eat some more if you wish.

Missing the golden chance of having your Dua accepted

The prayer of the fasting person is guaranteed to be accepted at the
time of breaking fast. The Prophet (Sal Allahu Alaiyhi wa Sallam)
said: “Three prayers are not rejected: the prayer of a father, the
prayer of a fasting person, and the prayer of a traveler.”
(al-Bayhaqi, saheeh by al-Albaani).

Instead of sitting down and making Dua at this precious time, some
people forego this beautiful chance, and are too busy frying samosas,
talking, setting the food, filling their plates and glasses, etc.
Think about it….Is food more important than the chance to have your
sins forgiven or the fulfillment of your Duas.

[Dua]

Fasting but not praying

[Namaaz]

The fasting of one who does not pray WILL NOT BE ACCEPTED. This is
because not praying constitutes kufr
as the Prophet (Sal Allahu Alaiyhi wa Sallam) said: “Between a man and
shirk and kufr there stands his giving up prayer.” (Muslim) In fact,
NONE of his good deeds will be accepted; rather, they are all
annulled.

“Whoever does not pray ‘Asr, his good deeds will be annulled.” (Bukhaari)
Fasting and not wearing Hijaab

Not wearing the Hijaab is a major sin as it is obligatory for Muslim
women. (See Surah Nur, Surah Ahzaab). So fasting and not wearing
hijaab certainly takes away enormously from the rewards of fasting,
even if does not invalidate it.

Not fasting because of exams or work
[Not Fasting]

Exams or work is NOT one of the excuses allowed by the Shariah to not
fast. You can do your studying and revision at night if it is too hard
to do that during the day. Also remember that pleasing and obeying
Allah is much more important than ‘good grades’. Besides, if you will
fulfil your obligation to fast, even if you have to study, Allah will
make it easy for you and help you in everything you do.“Whosoever
fears Allah, He will appoint for him a way out and provide for him
from where he does not expect, Allah is Sufficient for whosoever puts
his trust in Him.” (Surah at-Talaaq 2-3)

Mixing fasting and dieting

DO NOT make the mistake of fasting with the intention to diet. That is
one of the biggest mistakes some of us make (esp. sisters). Fasting is
an act of worship and can only be for the sake of Allah alone.
Otherwise, mixing it with the intention of dieting may become a form
of (minor) Shirk.

[Dieting]

Fighting over the number of Rakaah of Taraweeh

8/20

There is no specific number of rak’ahs for Taraweeh prayer, rather it
is permissible to do a little or a lot. Both 8 and 20 are okay.
Shaykh Ibn ‘Uthaymeen said: “No one should be denounced for praying
eleven or twenty-three (raka’ah), because the matter is broader in
scope than that, praise be to Allah.”

Praying ONLY on the night of the 27th

Some people pray ONLY on the 27th to seek Lailat ul-Qadr, neglecting
all other odd nights, although the Prophet (Sal Allahu Alaiyhi wa
Sallam) said: “Seek Lailat ul-Qadr among the odd numbered nights of
the last ten nights of Ramadhaan.” (Bukhaari, Muslim).

only 27th?

Wasting the last part of Ramadhaan preparing for Eid

[Eid]

Some people waste the entire last 10 days of Ramadhaan preparing for
Eid, shopping and frequenting malls, etc. neglecting Ibadah and
Lailatul Qadr. although, the Prophet (Sal Allahu Alaiyhi wa Sallam)
used to strive the hardest during the last ten days of Ramadhaan in
worship (Ahmad, Muslim) and not in shopping. Buy whatever you need for
Eid before Ramadhaan so that you can utilize the time in Ramadhaan to
the max.Aa’ishah (RA) said: “When the (last) ten nights began, the
Messenger of Allah (Sal Allahu Alaiyhi wa Sallam)) would tighten his
waist-wrapper (i.e., strive hard in worship or refrain from intimacy
with his wives), stay awake at night and wake his family.” (Bukhaari
and Muslim).
